Slowkiss has sparked our curiosity from the beginning because of their atypical mix of influences and the absence of genre boundaries, ranging from shoegaze to punk but always keeping it experimental and direct at the same time. After a couple of EPs, Patio 29 saw the light showing the band’s heavier and darker side, while presenting a new line up.
Having this record in vinyl made us forget the tense situation due to COVID earlier this year. Slowkiss is a band that makes us spin through the darker sounds from the 90s and current indie, just to remind us that there are new bands in Santiago starting to shine in spite of the circumstances.
